Germany: AntiRightist star Edathy Paedophilia Scandal Questions 4 Top Socialists on Criminal Enquiry

*Strasbourg/- Practically all TV-screens and Newspapers' Front-Pages from nearby Germany, at the other side of the Rhine river, suddenly imploded by manifold News Articles, Videos and Photographs focusing on an unprecedented Scandal, with many and unexpectedly important ramifications in both National and European politics, shortly after unexpectedly large CDU/CSU concessions were made for a coalition with the Losers of the last 2 Elections : the Socialist party, despite ChristianDemocrats' exceptionaly wide Electoral Victory on September 2013, where the German  People gave them almost an Absolute Majority at the Bundestag, short of only 4 MPs, but also surprisingly hindered any other coalition with Small Parties, such as Liberals (excluded after missing only a few votes for the 5% Threshhold), or "Greens" (with whom negotiations suddenly broke down by unclear internal conflicts)  : By a coincidence, now, it's also ....4 Socialist Party leaders that Bundestag and/or Attorneys would like to Question about fears of obstruction of a Criminal Investigation on Pederasty against. Anti-Rightist SPD star MP Edathy :

- A "Rising Star" of the Socialists in Germany, (and a stern opponent of various Rightist Organizations accused of "Extremism", including one to whose Dead 2 members were attributed some Violent Deaths of mainly Turkish and other immigrants : NSU), MP Edathy from Lower Saxe, suddenly "Resigned" (on Feb. 7), just .. "3 Days before" the Police searches his Office and House, (on Feb. 10).

- The move was done in the framework of a very Long Police Investigation against Suspected consumers of Pederastic Pornography, according to data provided by a Canadian company selling DVDs and on-line streaming Videos, as well as Photographs of "Naked Children". It seems that the Socialist MP would  have bought many DVDs and Video Films by a Child-Porn related firm, often ordered by e-mails and paid by Bank Credit Cards (both being changed frequently, as if he tried to Hide his identity), during many Years, until another Socialist MP was cought in Berlin for buying also Child-Porn material from that same Canadian company, after what, he apparently stopped dealing with it, probably because he became aware of the risk to be cought red-handed, him too...

- But, unfortunately, some of Socialist MP's Hard Disks are reportedly found "Damaged and Unreadable", or have "Data Deleted", at the Time that they are seized by the German Police.

+ Moreover, according to Press Reports, dust and other marks inside his appartments show that at least 2 more Computers had been standing for a long time there, but have now disappeared...

++ In addition, just 2 Days after the Police Search (i.e. on Feb. 12), Edathy anounces to the Bundestag that the Laptop that he used to have as an MP has gone Missing, apparently having been "stolen" in a Train towards Amsterdam the 31st of January...

+++ Meanwhile, another attempt by the Prosecutor to timely find Evidence is thwarted : His Letter asking to search Edathy's Office at the Bundestag is curiously Delayed and arrives to the competent Authority open....

++++ Edathy admitted, reportedly, that at least some had Warned him about "rumours" concerning a Police investigation, but not as an "official" info.

=> In consequence, suspicions grow that crucial Evidence was hidden, and the German Attorney's office strongly protests against whoever might have revealed, earlier, that a secret Investigation was going on about the Socialist MP.

- But, it's not yet clearly known Who might have informed the Suspect, before the Police takes action.

- However, it is undeniably revealed, afterwards, that the former Minister of Interior (JHA), Friedrich (CSU) had informed the Leader of the Socialists, Sigmar Gabriel (now vice-Chancellor), about the on-going investigation against one of his MPs, as early as already "since last October" 2013, when they were negotiating on how to broker a Deal for a Governemental Coalition between "Socialists" and ChristianDemocrats. (-Many observers wondered, however, why he abstained from informing also Bundestag's President Lammert, a Christiandemocrat).         

- Immediately, Chancellor Merkel, together with CSU's chief Seehofer, reporterly presses Friedrich to resign, as he does asap.

+ Meanwhile, Socialist Party's leader Gabriel had also informed on that affair the current Foreign Minister, Socialist top politician Steinmeier, as well as the then Chair of Socialist MPs in the National Parliament (Bundestag), Oppermann, and, later-on, the secret had also passed over to the new Chair of Socialist MPs st the Bundestag, Mrs Lamprecht...

CDU MP Laschet reportedly stressed that "it must be seriously clarified, who, besides the SPD Leadership squad (f. Party Boss Gabriel, f. Secretary General Oppermann, Foreign Minister Steinmeier, party manager Lambrecht),still had got that information. Obviously because, if there wasn't anybody else, then, inevitably, it means that it's at least one of them (4) who informed Edathy, (apparently allowing him to Destroy Evidence just before the Police starts to search : Comp. Supra))...      

   
=> Nevertheless, "officialy", all those 4 Top Leaders of the SPD deny that anyone among them might have revealed to Edathy that he was going to be investigated for suspicions of Child-Porn, between October 2013 and February 2014, when the Police finaly started to search, (Comp. Supra)... Moreover, Gabriel reportedly refuses, until now, to admit that any Socialist Minister might Resign, despite the fact that Police reportedly found at least Many Photographs of "Naked Children" aged 9 -13, at the limits of Pederastic Pornography, which had been, indeed, bought by SPD's "star" MP Edathy.

- But the Speaker of "Green" MPs on Criminal affairs, Konstantin von Netz, reportedly declares that "this affair didn't end", with the Resignation of the Center-Right's Minister Friedrich (Comp. Supra), and, on the contrary, "it has just Started", as far as it concerns "the 4 Top Leaders of the Socialist party" mentioned above, who must be called, next week, to explain their behavior and reply to a series of Questions on the roie they plaid in this case during the last 6 Months, in front of the Bundestag's Committee on Legal affairs, (chaired by the "Green" MP Mrs Kunast, who is also willing to take action).

If they refuse, and/or if necessary, a Rogatory Committee can be set up by the Bundestag, with stronger Investigation Powers, after a formal demand also by the "Left" Party, which declared that it agrees to do so, (in addition to the various other Critical Questions raised also by CSU's Chief Seehofer, reportedly dissatisfied of SPD leaders' stance in this affair) :

 

- "Left"'s chief, Katja Kipping, reportedly warned that - "We now wait for the Enquiry at the interior committee for internal affairs". But, "If the Answers are not satisfactory, a Rogatory committee is not to be excluded". While CSU's Spokesman for JHA, Hans-Peter Uhl, denounced the fact that "it certainly it's Not Justice" to have only a Center-Right CSU Minister resign, after a notorious Socialist politician orders Films with Child Porn Shipping, according to "Welt". Therefore, Uhl asks that the 4 Socialist Party's leaders "give assurances that they didn't pass on that information (on a forthcoming Police Investigation for Child Pornography) to Edathy".Even CSU's Chief, Seehofer, stressed that "SPD leaders have to give Replies to many Questions". While CDU's new Secretary General, Peter Taube,(who had immediately asked for CSU Friedrich's resignation), clearly stated that, now, the Enquiry must advance towards the Socialist party..

=> From a Political point of view, German Press commentators observe that, after the resignation of CSU Minister Friedrich, "the Lesser damage" to the Coalition with the Socialists would be if new SPD Secretary General Oppermann was pushed out, instead of Top Ministers Gabriel (to whom Friedrich has initially spoken about the Child Porn investigation) and/or Steinmeier, since that would be clearly much more Hard to bear for the legitimacy of the Deal with SPD.

- "Why is Gabriel protected ... ?", wonder mainstream German Media. - "Friedrich's concern (to prevent the Big Coalition from falling into the Trap of Edathy's forthcoming Scandal, f.ex. by avoiding to appoint him in a Ministerial position), was politicaly understandable. But it provoked a Scandal because Gabriel passed on the Secrets, (to Steinmeier, Operrmann, etc). However, despite that, he (Gabriel) is protected..... Why ?", they ask.

- Socialist leader Gabriel, while reportedly admitting that SPD's fallen former "star" MP Edathy's behavior must be condemned for having ordered material on Naked Children, to the poin that SPD's Presidium and Executive Board declared themselves "Shocked and Stunned" by such acts, nevertheless reacted by calling any "allegations" that Edathy had been Warned by SPD leaders as "absurd", in his view, and even "defamatory". But CSU leader Seehoffer observed that, still, "Questions had not been Answered Satisfactorily", and Chancelor Merkel reportedly stressed that it's "important for all open issues to be clarified".

By an irony of the sort, Edathy, (born 1969 as Edathiparambil at Hanover, son of a Kerala immigrant, according to Wikipedia), had quasi-monopolized mainstream News all over the years 2011-2013 as former Chair of a Bundestag's Committee, against Right-wing or "White" Extremism, accusing the German Police to make "Non-efficient Investigations" (sic !) because, according to him, it used to focus more on "Muslim" and/or Leftist ("Red") Extremism than on Right wing, and often calling to ban various organisations (f.ex. NPD, etc), to spy and/or block Websites expressing what he feels as "Hate" speech, (even if based at the USA, etc), having provoked several Resignations inside the German Administration in the recent Past.

Some unconfirmed Press reports about eventual deals on unrelated Economic affairs between CSU and PSD, as a price to pay for stopping current criticism on SPD leaders (etc), might, however, obviously leave Citizens with the impression that "Big Politicians are treated differently than Ordinary Citizens", as "Green" leader Hofreiter warned, reportedly accusing, otherwise, the "GroKo" (Big Coalition) to risk to start looking like "a Gang", in front of a Criminal Investigation, while the party of the "Left" reportedly wants to start debates in the Bundestag about setting up an Investigation Committee, in what is widely seen as "a 1st Test" if those 2 Small Parties could really play the normal role of a fully-fledged Opposition, necessary in any pluralist Democracy, after the experienced Liberals' "FDP" and other candidates in the September 2013 Elections were excluded for missing, with a tiny margin, the 5% threshhold..

+ In addition, Criminal Law Professor at the nearby University of Koeln, (Germany's No 1 stronghold of Turkish immigrants initially brought in Europe reportedly after the 2nd World War by American Companies as "General Motors", etc),  Nikolaos Gazeas (of Greek origin), questioned by "Zeit"s Journalist Zacharias Zacharakis, (also of Greek origin), confirms, naturally, that the above mentioned 4 Top Leaders of the Socialists might, in theory, be accused and condemned  for having Violated the Secret of the Investigation.  But he personaly speculates that it would be "very Difficult", in his own view, for the German Attorney to "prove" that they effectively informed the Suspect, with the intention to help him Destroy material Evidence in order to Hide the Truth and escape punishment. Thus, he speculates that the Attorney might rather ask from the 4 SPD Top Polticians involved in the Edathy affair only to give their Testimonies as "Witnesses". Inaction obviously risks to leave even odious crimes of Pederasty totally unpunished, even if committed by Politicians who can get Powers affecting People's lives and Society at large. (When one thinks, f.ex. that Edathy, while still in possession of many Photos of Naked Children aged 8-13, had become so famous in his Anti-Rightist activities, that he could have become Interior Minister in the big Coalition SPD-CDU/CSU, it gives you the shivers !)...

Something which could be obviously considered as en even bigger "Scandal", particularly when it appears shortly after Socialists (who have notoriously lost 2 elections in Germany, on 2009 and 2013), brokered a controversial Deal for a Coalition with the ChristianDemocrats, (who, on the contrary, Augmented even further on 2013 the Biggest number of Votes that they had already got since 2009, by almost reaching now an Absolute Majority, with the exception only of 4 MPs), where the SPD curiously managed to oblige the CDU/CSU to more or less give up several among its most Popular Pre-Electoral Promises,

by making Concessions to the Socialists which f.ex. practically allow "Same Sex Mariages" and even "Adoption" of Children by Homosexuals, Massive Acquisition of "Dual Citizenship" by an entire Generation of mainly Turkish Immigrants who were born in Germany during the last 25 Years (since 1990), promotion of "Cultural Diversity" by a Socialist Minister recruited from a Turkish lobby, instead of Chancellor Angie Merkel's famous : - "No to Multi-Kulti !" and Yes to real Cultural Integration, (notoriously opposed to those Turkish Government -supported groups which push to impose a kind of Cultural "Appart-Heid" with "Gettos" throughout many affected EU Countries), with which she had Opened her Electoral Campain at nearby Ludwigshafen since August 2013, succeeding to Win a larger than ever Popular Support among German People, as well as by later Watering down CDU/CSU's initially crystal-clear Refusal to admit Turkey's demand to enter inside the EU, and by finaly allowing Pre-Natal and other Genetic "Tests" on Human beings, that ChristianDemocrats officially opposed until recently, in the name of the respect due to Natural Families, National Identity, EU's Democratic/Human Rights' Values, and to Human Dignity, respectively.

This notoriously happened after an earlier attempt, for the 1st time in History, to fix a Deal for a New Coalition between ChristianDemocrats and "Greens", which could have been at least partly based on traditionaly shared concerns mainly on BioEthical issues of crucial Topical Importance, (particularly after the 2011 Fukushima disaster in Japan, and the "Energy Swift" which followed in German Politics, had lifted a pre-existing Differend on Nuclear Energy), finaly broke down, rather for unclear reasons.

+ Meanwhile, CDU/CSU's former Coalition Partner, the Liberals, - who had obviously angered USA's Socialist President Obama for reportedly refusing to be sufficiently proactive in Miltary Interventions at several "Hotspots" in the World, (from Syria to Africa, etc), - curiously didn't manage this time to pass the 5% Electoral Threshhold, being credited with only 4,8% of the Votes of 9/2013,  almost close to the "Alternative", and followed by smaller Rightist parties, (etc), so that it all resulted to the Paradox to see more than 53% of German People vote towards the Center-Right, but, nevertheless, oblige the country to bring the Socialists inside a coalition Government because, astonishingly, it was found at the last minute that Chancellor Angie Merkel's ChristianDemocrats (by large the big Winners  at the latest Election, where they advanced even more than expected) lacked only Four (4) Votes in order to have an Absolute Majority at the Bundestag...

Thus, today's SPD MP Edathy Scandal, which dominates Front Page Headlines throughout the German Press, has started to be also largely reported even by other European and International mainstream Media (f.ex. BBC, Reuters, "Le Monde", etc), among those which are due to raise various topical Questions also on the Socialist Leaders' controversial stance (Comp. Supra), Next Week in Paris, when some of them (f.ex. Steinmeier and perhaps Gabriel, etc), will probably accompagny Chancellor Merkel to a Franco-German inter-Governemental Summit with French President Hollande at Elysée Palace on Wednesday,

Unless they will be still busy to answer questions of Bundestag's Interior Committee, at an exceptional Hearing behind closed doors, the same day in Berlin...
