Turkey admits distribution of Greek Cypriot Refugees Homes to Foreign Settlers in Occupied Cyprus !
*Strasbourg/- In an astonishingly hasty move, the Turkish Government practically admitted that it has been involved in massive Distribution of illegally usurpated Family Homes and Private Properties of many Thousands of Greek Cypriot Refugees (obliged to flee their ancestral land after the 1974 Military Invasion and persisting Occupation of the Northern part of the island by Ankara's Army) not only to Turkish Cypriots, but even to Foreign Settlers irregularly entering Cyprus' Occupied Territories from mainland Anatolia.
In a document which has just been formally presented by Turkish Officials in Strasbourg and distributed by the CoE, Ankara acknowledges that it "allocated Greek Cypriot properties" from the "available Land (which) belonged to Greek Cypriots", "over Time", not only to "relocated Turkish Cypriots", (who left the Free Areas of the Republic without being obliged to, but mainly under Ankara cronies' notorious pressure since its well known 1960 plans to impose the Partition of Cyprus, in one way or another, under any pretext), but even "to Others as well", (i.e. to iiregularly imported Foreign Settlers)...
- Among many possible concrete examples, the 2012 Turkish document reveals also that such a Massive "Distribution of (Greek Cypriot Refugees') Land to (Foreign Turkish Settlers) Farmers took place" in the Occupied Territories of Cyprus held by Ankara's Military, systematically and massively organized "for example" all over "Vast Areas of Agricultural Land".
Meanwhile, recent data reportedly confirm that Hundreds of Thousands foreign Turkish Settlers have, indeed, entered (and much more still do), the Occupied Territories of Cyprus, where 190.000 Greek Cypriot Refugees and Displaced persons have been obliged to flee Ankara's invasion and occupation Military, and are still Hindered to Return, not even allowed to access or have Restitution of their Family Homes, Ancestral Land and other private properties, Contrary to both CoE's and UNO's Legal Standards, as enshrined by ECHR's well established case-law and UNOG's world-famous "Pinheiro principles".
Meanwhile, CoE's Committee of Ministers has already discussed Denunciations of massive Distribution of Greek Cyriot Refugees' Family Homes and Private Properties with the sale of so-called "Titles" of ownership, requesting from Turkey to avoid any move which might provoke irreversible consequences hindering the implementation of ECHR's Judgements.
The PanEuropean CoE's Parliamentary Assembly has strongly condemned, in 2 successive Reports and Resolutions, the on-going "Colonisation of the Occupied Territories of Cyprus by Turkish Settlers", both during the 1990ies and on the 2000ies, stressing even further CoE's Committee of Ministers denunciation of the fact that the illegal "Influx of Turkish Settlers" from mainland Anatolia "can become a major Political Obstacle to a Solution of Cyprus issue".
(And this obviously becomes even worse after such Massive Allocations of Greek Cyriot Refugees' Family Homes and Flats to Foreign Settlers illegaly brought in Cyprus' Occupied Territories held by Ankara's Military)...
Moreover, according to the recently agreed Statute of the International Criminal Court, any massive "Replacement" of the Original Inhabitants of a Country's Occupied Territories by systematically importing Settlers, particularly from the mainland of the Foreign Country which is also the Occupying force, tantamounts to a "War Crime", (and this is one of the main reasons for which Ankara still Refuses to ratify ICC's Treaty)...

It's at a splendid Natural landscape, inside a Forest plateau with superbe view over Paris, at Saint Cloud, that the incoming French EU Presidency had the good idea to join together all EU Member Countries' Ministers of Environment and Energy, in two overlaping EU Councils in a series, from 3 to 5 July 2008.
Fresh rain happily dissipated July's heatwave, before a bright Sun shined at the conclusion of the EU gathering around a huge statue of Earth (See Photo).
French super-Minister of State for Energy, Transport and Environment, Jean-Louis Borloo, and Minister for Environment, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet chaired the first EU Ministerial meeting at Paris' area, together with EU Commissioners Demas and Pielbags, surprising Journalists with improvised Press-points, at key-moments of the discussions.
Environment and Energy are key to the development of New Technologies to boost Europe's role in the World, while also responding to Citizens' concerns, stressed Borloo, speaking to Journalists earlier in Strasbourg.
According to well-infomed sources from the French EU Presidency, the aim is to stimulate a growing trend inside EU Parliament, via various on-going Reports developping in parallel, towards achieving the necessary targets before December.
For this purpose, Top-level representatives from Borloo's super-Ministry are expected to come in Strasbourg during EU Parliament's plenary, next Wednesday, a key official told "EuroFora".
